What a fantastic day of fun, friendship and plenty of laughter at the SWI National Ruralympics! 🏆🎉

A huge thank you to Ross-shire & Sutherland Federation SWI for hosting such a brilliant event at Dingwall Academy and bringing together 17 teams from across Scotland for an afternoon of friendly competition, games and giggles!

A big congratulations to our winning teams:

🥇 1st place – Dunbartonshire Federation

🥈 2nd place – Dumfriesshire Federation

🥉 Joint 3rd place – Aberdeenshire Federation & Stewartry of Kirkudbright Federation

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success. Events like this really do show what the SWI is all about – bringing women together from across Scotland to enjoy friendship, fun and a little healthy competition!

A special thank you to all the organisers, volunteers and helpers who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it happen.

Please Share: Fancy a day out to promote the SWI? We’re looking for volunteers!

Throughout the year, SWI exhibits at a range of fantastic events, including Creative Crafts, East Neuk Knits, the Ideal Home Show and the Royal Highland Show. These events are a brilliant opportunity to showcase what SWI has to offer, share our love of crafts and meet new people!

We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us at our stands. As a thank you for your time, all volunteers receive free entry to the show! Volunteering roles and time commitments vary between events, so there are opportunities to suit different interests and availability.

Our next opportunity is Creative Crafts at the SEC Glasgow, 22–25 October! We’re looking for more volunteers to help us at the show, so if you fancy getting involved, we’d love to hear from you.

Interested in volunteering at Creative Crafts or one of our other events? Get in touch with Beth at [email protected] to find out more.

Come along, lend a hand and help us spread the word about SWI!

Please Share: We’re delighted to have a limited number of signed copies of Feast by Sarah Rankin, MasterChef finalist and one of the fantastic speakers at our recent SWI Members’ Gathering in Dundee. An ideal Christmas present!

Sarah joined us for a brilliant cooking demonstration alongside Julia Bryce, sharing her passion for good food, seasonal ingredients and delicious recipes, and now you can take a little piece of that experience home with you! 💛

We only have a limited quantity available, so don’t miss out!

Available through the SWI shop while stocks last: https://shop.theswi.org.uk/products/feast-recipes-that-bring-joy-signed-copy
