"solidarity, civic participation, community development and respect for difference" - 🙏 grma Irish in Britain. Yes, over the two forum days these identity markers were powerfully underlined by speakers and also from the floor.

A pleasure to join colleagues from across the global Irish network in Croke Park for the launch of the Irish government's Diaspora Strategy 2026 - 2030.

Inspiring to meet with those who will help make the strategy ambitions a reality and it was a reminder of the values that bind us in the work we do:

solidarity, civic participation, community development and respect for difference; values of kinship highlighted in Uachtarán na hÉireann / President of Ireland Catherine Connolly's address.

Go raibh maith agaibh the team at Irish Foreign Ministry for bringing us together and for the warm welcome

Bhí beirt againn as i láthair 😍 Cora and Déirdre represented us at the Global Irish Civic Forum this week in Croke Park. Chuaigh an t-Uachtarán inár measc chun an Straitéis a chur i mbun! Such a buzz to have the President of Ireland formally launch the new and to share experiences with her in our breakout groups💚 Buíochas ó chroí don fhoireann go léir a rinne an taighde thar 18 míosa agus a d'eagair imeacht thar barr.
