Bethany provides a suite of services which support people struggling with issues of homelessness helping them to: find suitable accommodation and furnish their homes, tackle addictions, learn new skills and gain employment, develop positive social networks and become active members of their local communities.

Introducing... Grace House 💜

“This is a home. It’s not a homeless hostel. It’s not a unit. It’s a home.”

The latest service under the Bethany banner opens today. Following from the incredible impact we've seen already at Anne Hope House, Grace House is now ready to open its doors to women in need of accommodation and support in the Glasgow area.

Bethany Homes offer tenancies across 82 supported flats. Our Housing & Support teams help tenants gain the confidence and skills required to sustain a permanent tenancy and live independent, safe and fulfilled lives. Pray for permanent homes for families moving on from Bethany’s support.

When Bartek lost his home, his health and his sense of direction, a friend connected him with support.

At Bethany Christian Centre, he began rebuilding his wellbeing and imagining a future again. Now he volunteers at The Bethany Shop and helps prepare a community meal every Saturday.

Bartek’s story shows that support is not only about meeting an immediate need. It can help someone rediscover purpose.

“I feel like I’m as much of a help to them as they are to me.”

Kathy* first encountered Bethany through a cup of coffee at the Care Van. That connection led to recovery support, practical advocacy and eventually a volunteer role at a Bethany Shop.

Today, volunteering is helping Kathy build confidence, manage anxiety and give something back.
