Alison is one of our adopters and she'll be cycling 100 miles in 24 hours around Aviemore on 27 July to raise money for SACS Adoption - St Andrew's Children's Society. We are really grateful to Alison for taking on this gruelling challenge for us.

Please, if you can, donate to Alison's Just Giving page. All donations will be greatly appreciated, big and small. Thank you.

Huge thanks to Lada, Cloe and Pawel, three super talented art students from North East Scotland College who gave up their free time to paint this incredible tree on our walls in our Aberdeen office. They are in the Introduction to Art & Design Level 5 course and we are looking forward to seeing them next term again when they return with some classmates to complete even more murals for us as part of their Level 6 course.

We would also like to thank Angela Thouless, their art lecturer, for helping make this happen.

As you can see we've already started to decorate the tree and we still have a lot more families to add on! Watch this space...

Would you like to speak to someone who has already been through the whole adoption process before you decide if it's right for you? You can.

We have adopters all lined up and ready to answer your questions and tell you about their experiences of adopting. We have single adopters, adopters who follow a faith and LGBTQ+ adopters so we can match you up with the right person for you.

Please call 0131 454 3370 / 01224 878158 or email [email protected] to take the next step.

Paul is doing the Scottish Half Marathon in August to raise money for SACS Adoption - St Andrew's Children's Society. It's very touching for us because Paul was fostered at the age of 8 through St Andrew's Children's Society. Prior to that he'd been in the care system for 3 years.

Paul's already helped us many times before so we just can't thank him enough.

Please consider donating to Paul's Just Giving page. All the money he raises will be spent on making sure our families continue to receive lifelong adoption support. Thank you .

If you would like to find out more about Paul's fostering journey, watch the videos with him and his foster carer on our website. Just click on the Foster tab on our website and then Fostering stories. 🎬

Did you know that if you live in Edinburgh or the Lothians, and are care-experienced, then you can get free tickets for some shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe?

The Community Ticketing Initiative (CTI) is an organisation that tries to give everyone the chance to see shows for free at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Adoption UK - Scotland has joined CTI so that care-experienced children and adults can claim free tickets donated by performers.

You can claim tickets if you:
• Have an EH postcode
• Are care-experienced, whether living in foster care, kinship care or an adoptive family (or you are an adult claiming tickets on behalf of a care-experienced child)

You can claim tickets for the care-experienced person, and for the friends or family who are going with them to the show.

If you would like more information, please email [email protected] letting them know your postcode and whether you are an adoptive, kinship or foster family.

The community ticketing initiative provides free Edinburgh Festival Fringe tickets to those in need through local organisations, donated by artists and companies.
