Looking for your Sing and Sign fix this week! I have 3 spaces available on Wednesday, 10am in St Cuthbert's Colinton for an Animal Madness session! Open to 5 months - 2 years, experienced baby signers or total beginners.

This class will be packed full of lots of favourite animals, from the jungle to the farm and more! Come along and learn the signs for the animals your babies and toddlers love 🐾💕

⭐ ARE YOU AN EXPECTANT OR NEW PARENT? SING AND SIGN BABES IS OPEN FOR BOOKING ⭐

Babies are born ready to communicate and in Sing and Sign Babes class we learn how to tap into their communication cues right from birth. This class is perfect for babies under 6 months and their grown ups!

👀 Captivate: Even the littlest babies can engage with the songs, music and games we enjoy together in class!

🧠 Communicate: Discover how your baby is already using and exploring tools for communication such as eye contact, facial expression, babble etc and learn some useful early baby signs to support their communication as they grow!

💕 Connect: Enjoy one-to-one time with your baby and learn new activities to take home and share together.

Babes classes are very relaxed and supportive, and classes are deliberately kept small to allow us all to get to know each other! But that does mean spaces can fill up quickly!

Spaces are available on
📅 Thursdays, 12.45pm at the St Bride's Centre, Dalry starting Thursday 17th September

Communication is the very heart of every Sing and Sign class and it's my joy as a teacher to watch little ones 'find their voices', through sign and later through speech.

My other great joy is watching families grow and bond as their little one progresses from newborn, through baby stages and into toddlerhood. I get to see beautiful milestones and watch wonderful parents blossom over the terms 💕 And I've now been teaching long enough to get to see some of you coming through the stages a second time with subsequent babies!

You all know who you are, and thank you for choosing to have Sing and Sign in amongst your memories of these early years 💕

It was my last teaching day of the summer term this morning and the conflicting emotions don't get any easier 💕 10 weeks is a long time in a little ones life and I get to see so many milestones reached in that time, lots of little personalities emerge and we have so much fun together! Saying goodbye to moving on families is the hardest, but I'm so grateful to play a little part in lots of your early years journeys 💕 THANK YOU!

In Stage 1 and 2 classes we make a big deal of involving our little ones in tidying up the instruments and toys in class! But why?

Putting things away is an invaluable skill to teach our babies and toddlers as it shows them they can be helpful and involved in what their grown ups are doing! It’s also an important signal for the end of an activity and the beginning of the next, and the weekly repetition makes this easier every week!

I love watching the babies in class grasp this, and seeing them grow to really enjoy taking part in the tidying up process!

In Stage 1 and 2 classes we make a big deal of involving our little ones in tidying up the instruments and toys in class! But why?

Summer term is underway!! My beautiful Stage One families started off with some basic signs this week - including 'milk', which is a really useful, important and rewarding sign lots of little ones wanting to make their desires known! 🍼🤱
