🎶Now it’s time to tidy up!🎶

In Stage 1 and 2 classes we make a big deal of involving our little ones in tidying up the instruments and toys in class! But why?

Putting things away is an invaluable skill to teach our babies and toddlers as it shows them they can be helpful and involved in what their grown ups are doing! It’s also an important signal for the end of an activity and the beginning of the next, and the weekly repetition makes this easier every week!

I love watching the babies in class grasp this, and seeing them grow to really enjoy taking part in the tidying up process!

In Stage 1 and 2 classes we make a big deal of involving our little ones in tidying up the instruments and toys in class! But why?

Summer term is underway!! My beautiful Stage One families started off with some basic signs this week - including 'milk', which is a really useful, important and rewarding sign lots of little ones wanting to make their desires known! 🍼🤱

The Spring term finished this morning in a truly lovely set of Saturday classes, full of families who have embraced Sing and Sign as part of their family lives! 💕

Every term it's such a delight to see little faces light up and little people shriek with glee as they hear their favourite songs start. Music really is such a magical learning tool 🎶
