Edinburgh University Save the Children Society

Edinburgh University Save the Children Society We believe that all children have the right to education, good health and to have fun Link to the meeting will be posted on our page before the call.

Come along to our weekly meetings on Mondays at 6pm on zoom to see how you can get involved! We believe that all children have the right to education, good health and to have fun. Society members collectively choose our campaign focus, including one UK and one international cause, with opportunities to engage in public speaking. So come along and meet our society to find out more! We are an enthus

iastic group of students who work together to campaign about causes that Save the Children are involved in across the globe. Our aim has been to engage students with the crucial work of Save the Children. Over the last few years we have held a range of campaigns such as: petitions for child literacy, an exhibition and vigil for the refugee crisis, and letter writing sessions to local Ministers of Parliament. Members can be trained as speakers (for free) to lead talks and workshops on the charity's work. This is known as Speaking Out, which is a fantastic opportunity and part of what makes us unique as a society. It would be great to see you at the society meetings to help us make this year even more successful than the last!
