A Space to Learn

Our vision is to establish a sustainable community facility in the heart of the Old Town. The hub will bring local people of all ages and backgrounds together to create a more vibrant, resilient and inclusive community. The overall purpose of The Crannie is to create a community centre or 'village hall' providing

much-needed facilities for local residents to come together and develop shared activities, events and networks of support within their local neighbourhood.

Our Community Cinema Screening on the 29th of May, where we are showing Everybody to Kenmure Street, a documentary film that chronicles the Kenmure Street protests, the community resistance to a Home Office immigration raid in Glasgow's Pollokshields neighbourhood in 2021.
Tickets are free, and the film will be followed by refreshments, food and a discussion lead by Amnesty International.
