This marks the final moment of our time at Capital Theatres - Festival Theatre, Studio & King's Theatre Festival Theatre before we emigrate back along the road to the King's Theatre.
We would like to thank all the staff at the theatre for looking after us and allowing us to play on their stage - it's been an absolute privilege!
We look forward to seeing some of the staff back at the Auld Lady of Leven St and we're excited to see all the wonderful work that's been going on there.

Next up on the SIMPOL show bingo card is a return trip to Guys and Dolls, this time with our friends at Southern Light - Edinburgh
It's looking really good from rehearsals, so if you not crewing with us, get along for our last show in the Festival Theatre for a while!

We interrupt our Cher posts with some VERY exciting news!

Allegro (SCIO) are proud to announce that our 2024 production of ‘The SpongeBob Musical’ has won the Lumsden Trophy for BEST AMATEUR PRODUCTION IN SCOTLAND at this years NODA conference 🤩

This award is presented by NODA’s Scottish Councillor for ‘best overall theatre experience’. From the moment the audience arrive, the enjoyment and quality of the performance, the band, the lighting & sound, the creative process and everything else in-between 🤩

Allegro would like to say a big thank you to NODA Scotland for the award and a huge well done to everyone involved in last year’s production who contributed to us winning this award 🧽🩲🌊🐠
