💌You’re invited!

🥰We’d love to have you join us for the International Women’s Day Edinburgh picnic on Sunday 13th September from 2-4pm. It’ll be a casual afternoon of community and resistance!

📍Where: It will be in Leith Links, near the Leith Community Croft Cafe, in case the weather proves to be unkind.

🎯Objectives: Help connect the people of Edinburgh to the work of local women’s organisations (& make friends & have fun!)

🗞️Banners & Flyers: Feel free to bring along any banners, posters or flyers about upcoming events and ways for folks to get involved!

🍰Food & Drink: It’s potluck style, so feel free to bring along something to share (it can be small) or anything you’d like to drink! Please make sure to list any ingredients on food that you make, to help folks with dietary restrictions!

Please also extend the invite to family and friends: we would love to have you with us!

WE ARE READY. AND YOU? March with us this Sunday 8th March 2026 at 1pm. Assembly point: Mercat Cross, High Street. We will march to:
🔹Demand action to decriminalise abortion
🔹Oppose the rise of far-right ideologies weaponising violence against women to advance their racist agenda
🔹 Encourage democratic participation in the upcoming Scottish Parliament elections
While we expect this to be a peaceful event, please note that you are responsible for your own safety.
We are a trans-inclusive organisation, and transphobia is not welcome at our events.
