Staying power. we need...Lord help us🙏🏽

Do you have an idea of what will happen if electric power is shut down on earth for just one day?
Pause. Take a long, deep breath, and think before you attempt to come up with an answer.
Please, take your time, I insist, because this is no casual question.
Do you realise millions of people on life support will die instantly? Planes will fall down from the skies; trains, elevators bearing millions of people will shut down, leading to more deaths. Ships, boats, yachts, aircraft carriers will either sink or capsize; submarines will be permanently swallowed by the oceans’ murky bowels - leading to even more deaths. Billions of mobile devices will become useless. Industries will break down; economies will collapse.
Here comes the biggest of them all: There will be no internet!
Of course, it is impossible to draw up an exhaustive list for the deleterious consequences of shutting down electricity on earth for just 24 hours! But I believe you catch my drift.
Wow, is this not just amazing? Did you know that the world did just fine without electricity up until just barely 150 years ago? This means the human race did just fine for thousands of years without electric power but cannot do without it for just 1 day? So electricity is no longer a matter of luxury, it is a matter of life and death today.
How come, many a Christian today can go for days, months and even years without engaging the resurrection power? The Lord Himself told the disciples to wait until they were armed with power before they could effectively witness for Him (Acts 1:8).
The other day, my heart sank when I found out that over 110 cathedrals were up for sale at the same time in a certain part of the world. No power!
We cannot afford to do powerless Christianity, my dear brethren. We cannot effectively witness to the Lord’s resurrection without power! (Acts 4:33)
Power is a matter of life and death for Christianity today. This is why I am all in for tremendous power that is made available through righteousness and prayer (James 5:16).
Power is available in the Holy Ghost!
