EKoS Empowered Kids of Scotland. EKoS is a non-profit organisation formed by Paul Togneri and Katie Lyons. EKoS will miss Katie. On to new things we all must be.

Paul is an Edinburgh street artist involved in kids art workshops and community art. Katie has now moved to a new job in the theatre in China as of 2017. Our aim for EKoS is to help kids all over Scotland to open their minds using art and creativity. We want to help kids to simultaneously engage their imagination and become empowered through positive action and reaction. We aim to achieve these re

sults through workshops that create a platform for kids to plan, design and literally build worlds and ideas borne of their own imaginations using natural and recycled resources. Eventually we want to achieve this through the use of a mobile unit that will serve communities all over Scotland, where we can primarily engage children with our workshops, but also access parents and families who can benefit from our alternative approach to learning and success. Previous events: Participant of Dunbar Art Trail (April 2015), Chalk Day at Princes St (July 2015), Participant of Linkylea Festival (September 2015), Epic Chalk Day Inverleith Park (22 November 2015). Upcoming events: Epic Chalk Day 2 Inverleith Park 20 March 2016
