Edinburgh Cat Protection League is a small independent registered charity (SC054757) formed to help cats & kittens whose owners are no longer able to care for them. We are a stand alone, self-funding Scottish Charity dedicated to the rescuing and rehoming of cats. Edinburgh Cat Protection League is registered as a Charity in Scotland No SC054757 and is regulated by OSCR the Scottish Charity Regulator. The charity is a company limited by guarantee registered with Companies House No SC869974.

We've had a lovely update about Kylo and Diesel, now named Gimli and Bruce!

They came into the shelter separately and struck up a lovely friendship and were rehomed together.

They've settled in wonderfully to their new home and are now cuddling up on the sofa 💞

😿 Today is 100 days in our care for Eris 😿

Through no fault of her own, Eris is still at the shelter 100 days after being surrendered into our care. She has a lot of life in her and should now be spending it in a home of her own!

She’s an awesome office cat, a great companion, and has no medical issues. She doesn’t like other cats and would like the option to potter around a garden.

Please share our appeal for Eris anywhere you can! The more she's shared, the more likely her perfect person will see her.

💞 We've just had an update about Pasha (previously known here as Maizie) 💞

She was a really shy cat at the shelter but we could see how sweet she was and slowly she started to trust us and let us give her some pets.

She waited a while for her new home (and was featured on our posts quite a few times!) but found her perfect match and has settled in wonderfully!

Her new family kindly sent us some pictures and allowed us to share them with you all 😺

We put out an appeal for some catnip a couple of weeks ago and we got a bunch delivered to us! Here's some videos of Lestat (who is now reserved) enjoying some of it.
