Salvation Army Donation Centre Edinburgh Donate. Shop. Volunteer. Recycle. Reuse. All under one roof! The Donation Centre strives to offer a great space for shopping, donating and volunteering.

Our shop offers an eclectic mix of clothing, furniture, homewares, books, DVDs/CDs and electricals. Our stock changes daily so there's always something new to find in our little Aladdin's cave! As a Revolve accredited Centre (https://www.zerowastescotland.org.uk/revolve) you know that all our wares are fully checked before being made available and that we strive to offer great service. n Point offers a convenient and safe space to donate your pre-loved items. Here, our team will accept your donation and prepare it for quarantine, keeping our customers and volunteers safe in these unusual Covid times. We are a volunteer driven centre, and the fantastic hard work of our great team of volunteers is what keeps our centre going. Without them we would achieve nothing. We offer lots of volunteering experiences. Whether you would like to volunteer as part of a programme, or you're looking to gain some experience or wanting to give something back, we have a role for you. We offer front of house roles, sorting roles and logistics. For more information message us or pop in!

Sadly, we are full and will not be able to accept any more donations today.

Our A team volunteers are working hard, sorting, and processing your donations, and we hope to be accepting again very soon.

Good Morning .

We are open as normal today 😀

Our shop and donation point are open as usual this morning as usual from 9:00am.

We are accepting donations of clothing, linens, books, homewares, collectables, electrical items, and furniture.

As the day goes on, we may fill up and have to close our Donation Point. We will update our page if this happens.

Today we made a special drop off to Prestonfield Primary School to support them with their clothing bank. They reached out to say they are working more and more with families that need that little extra help and whether we could spare any children's clothing aged 5-12. Our community Champion Nicola collected some large bags and handed them over to Head Teacher Jenny Hennessy and the lovely pupils at Prestonfield.
A big thanks to all our donors and volunteers, without whom we couldn't support our local community.

The Edinburgh Taxi Outing is one of Edinburgh’s longest-running and most cherished community events. Organized and funded by local taxi drivers, it provides a special day out for children with additional needs, life-limiting conditions, and serious illnesses. The taxis are decorated with balloons, costumes, and themed displays, creating a colourful parade through the city. 🎈 🎈 🎈 🔫 🔫 🔫 🔫
