Thistle Foundation is a Scottish charity with a 70 year tradition of pioneering support for people with long term conditions, including disabilities. We are a health and wellbeing organisation that supports people with long term conditions by finding the tools to cope with their condition and manage life better. We also train and work with health and social practitioners to deliver a holistic, per

son centred approach. We deliver local services in communities which we work and have a national role in influencing policy and practice. Thistle works with the person not the condition, tailoring our support to the needs of each individual. We support people to take control and learn how to manage life with a condition so that they are better able to live a good life – whatever that means to them.
