We started as a group of students and staff, with similar interests and different backgrounds
who wanted to connect with more people across Queen Margaret University. Our aim is to:
• Foster a sense of belonging within QMU and Edinburgh
• Engage a diverse range of people
Our activities range from social gatherings (meeting in town or on campus) where we organise fun events such as movie nights, cultural event nights, etc. to spend more time with each other and engage others at QMU. WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU
From our own experience, we know how overwhelming it can be at the start of the semester and this is why we would like to help you. We can set you up with a network of students from different origins to socialise and make friends. We hope we can also be an introduction to life and activities around Edinburgh and Scotland. We are here for you whether you have a quick question or would like to talk to us in person. We can show you around the campus, take you into town and give you general advice about life in Edinburgh.
