If you're looking for people to start a band with, or would like to form your own band, you're in luck!

We've organised another 'Meet a bandmate' event. This one will be on Mon Nov 23rd from 7pm-9pm, in the back room of the Strathmore Bar on Iona Street. See you there!! We'll also have GRSE t shirts, badges, and maybe zines too if we have any left!

Back in 2018, Girls Rock School Edinburgh were awarded Creative Edinburgh's Social Award, and we were recently invited back to join previous winners for a photo shoot. Committee members Fiona and Laura were able to make it along, however we forgot to take our award, so here we are posing with a borrowed one!

The next GRSE meet-a-bandmate event is happening on Tues 23rd from 7-9pm, in the back room of the Strathmore Bar on Iona Street. There will be opportunities to meet other musicians such as vocalists, guitarists, bassists and drummers. We'd like one or two singer songwriters to give is a wee performance (2-3 songs each), so get in touch if you'd like to give us a wee song, but bear in mind that the Strathie doesn't allow electric instruments so it would be acoustic instruments only. There will be a raffle so bring something to contribute if you can. We will also have copies of the latest GRSE zine for sale!
