☀️ Summer fun at the Jubilee Club! ☀️

Our latest Gazette captures some lovely moments from our Summer Week celebrations.
Members enjoyed spending time together in the garden and making the most of the sunshine. We also got creative, making colourful bracelets and turning old CDs into beautiful sun catchers.

One of our favourite activities was a special colouring challenge, where the members' faces became part of the picture! There were lots of smiles, laughter and some brilliant finished designs.
A lovely month filled with sunshine and good company. 💜💛

🎶 A heartfelt thank you to Kathryn and Phil for joining us at our Teatime Club last week.

We were treated to a wonderful afternoon of music, with Phil's incredible piano playing and Kathryn's beautiful singing voice. They are both so talented, and it was a real pleasure to have them perform for us.

The room was soon filled with singing as everyone joined in with songs from The Sound of Music, creating a fantastic atmosphere full of smiles, laughter and plenty of happy memories.

As if that wasn't enough, we also celebrated one of our members' birthdays! 🎉 Everyone enjoyed some delicious birthday cake, making the evening even more special.

Thank you both for giving up your time to entertain us. Your performance was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! 🎹🎤🎵

🎹 We were delighted to welcome Alan back to the Jubilee Club! 💜

Alan is always a firm favourite with our members, and it wasn't long before his wonderful keyboard tunes had everyone smiling, singing along and up on their feet for a dance.

A huge thank you, Alan, for sharing your time and talent with us. We always look forward to your visits, and we can't wait to welcome you back again soon! 🎶💃🕺

Johnny was a huge hit with our members when he visited us last week! Always looking braw in his tartan and filling the club with fantastic Scottish music. Thank you, Johnny, for another brilliant afternoon, everyone loved it!

Johnny will also be performing at the Edinburgh Festival, so I’ll pop his leaflet in the comments for anyone who would like to see him.

🎶 A huge thank you to the Livingston Ukulele Club for spending the morning with us at Corstorphine Dementia Project! 💜

What a fantastic morning it was, filled with wonderful music, singing, smiles and plenty of laughter. It was lovely to see so many of our members joining in, tapping along and enjoying the performance.

Thank you to everyone in the group for giving up your time to entertain us and help create such a fun and uplifting atmosphere. Your visit was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

🎭 What a wonderful evening we had at our Teatime Club with the lovely Debbie 💜

A huge thank you to Debbie for entertaining us with a fantastic selection of theatrical favourites. Her beautiful singing had everyone smiling, singing along and enjoying a trip down memory lane.

The atmosphere was filled with music, laughter and plenty of dancing. We have to give a special mention to our very own Jimmy, who was on hand to make sure the ladies weren't left sitting down for too long! He loves nothing more than getting everyone up for a dance and, as always, was a true gentleman.

Thank you, Debbie, for sharing your talent with us. We thoroughly enjoyed having you at the club and hope to welcome you back again soon! 🎤🎶

🎉 What a wonderful day of celebration at the Jubilee Club!

We had the privilege of celebrating one of our lovely members turning 90 years young.

She was completely surprised when her family brought her a beautiful birthday cake to bring to the club, making the occasion even more special. 🎂

One of her birthday wishes was to have a dance on her special day... and our gentleman Jimmy was only too happy to step in as her dance partner! 💃🕺 What a star!

It was a truly heartwarming moment, with smiles, laughter and plenty of applause from everyone. Days like these remind us how important it is to celebrate life's milestones together and create memories that will stay with us all.

Music has such a special way of bringing people together, and it's always lovely to see our members singing along, smiling and enjoying the familiar tunes.
