Gig Buddies with Thera Trust Gig Buddies with Thera Trust enables people with a learning disability to get out to more events and enjoy the social life they choose.

Our current local projects are: Gig Buddies Edinburgh, West Lothian, and Glasgow. We do this by paring our members to a volunteer who shares the same interests as them. Our 'Gig Buddies' then choose which events they go to each month and enjoy their shared passion together. Gig Buddies was set up in 2013 by Stay Up Late in Brighton and has since been established in Sydney, Australia and now here in Scotland.

🤘Gig Buddies members and volunteers will be heading to the festival all week, but YOU can drop by and say hello to us on Saturday and Sunday to find out more about Gig Buddies and our work enabling people with learning disabilities to discover fantastic events like Hidden Door!
