We are incredibly honoured and unbelievably proud to announce NappiRunz has received The Kings Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to local volunteering groups in the UK.

From humble beginnings, sorting nappies in our garage, to now distributing thousands of nappies every year to families in need, we never could have imagined we would be making this announcement! This award recognises every NappiRunz volunteer who has helped us in our mission to tackle nappy poverty in our local communities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your kindness and the lasting impact it has made to the families we support.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to His Majesty The King and the KAVS team for recognising the work we do. This means the world to us.

With this incredible honour, we will continue to spread amongst our communities today, tomorrow and the years ahead. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you ❤️

We are over the moon 🌙 to have received funding support from The Robertson Trust. What a start to the week 🫶🏾

The Robertson Trust aims to prevent and reduce poverty and trauma in Scotland, by funding, supporting, and influencing solutions to drive social change. "Our vision, rooted in our heritage, is for a fair and compassionate Scotland where everyone is valued and able to flourish."

A huge thank you to the Trust for helping us continue to spread Nappiness to families in need through this funding support 🥰

The NappiRunz Story

When I started NappiRunz in 2015, I was just looking for a place to drop off the spare nappies I had once my son was potty trained. 5 years on and with a new child in nappies, I have learnt so much about the different ways nappy poverty can have such a huge impact on not just the hygiene and wellbeing needs of the child but for the parent or caregiver too. The kindness of people have also outstanded me and reaffirmed my belief that if given the opportunity, avenue and have the means to, we all really want to help. I have met so many amazing charities and organisations doing their very best to ensure that families who find themselves in need of nappies can access them but I know for certain that there are so many more babies and families being missed as they do not have the right access to this support. By donating your unused nappies we are making a difference. Looking into what more we can do to prevent or relieve nappy poverty is what NappiRunz is all about ❤️
