All backgrounds and abilities welcome! Edinburgh Bhangra Crew is a non-profit university dance troupe founded in 2008 by a small group of friends who loved to dance. We have been growing ever since, performing at a range of events from local charity performances and weddings to coming second in the national Bhangra competition TBC-U and appearing on the BBC. Our diverse membership and welcoming en

vironment is the essence of our unique team. The upbeat dance form is a great way to improve fitness in an open and friendly environment where you'll end up meeting life-long friends! We offer dance classes twice weekly welcoming people of any and all dance experience; complete with our own costumes, dhols and props, we offer our own dance team and dholis for event hire. This includes workshops and performances to suit your occasion - charity shows, corporate events, festivals and melas, weddings, birthdays and more. We also plan to host our own bhangra showcase event this 2023-2024 year. Dance classes run September through to May, biweekly on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. We practice in dance studio rooms within the main University of Edinburgh campus. Please see our instagram account for class timings and locations. We offer FREE taster classes in the months of September and in January. Membership allows you free access to all bhangra classes. Each class is 5 pounds for non-members.
