Our story
This year’s Edinburgh Sustainable Innovation Conference aims to tackle the negligent attitude that causes many people to get into the rut of buying products that are unsustainable and often expensive. We want this conference to be an opportunity for people to see the alternatives that can be of little consequence to the individual but will make a significant difference to the planet.
The Edinburgh climate strike in September was an instance when thousands of Edinburgians were united by the cause of climate change. Although many people might support this they may not know the right way to go about it. Joining in with a climate change protest is undermined if you are doing so with a disposable coffee cup in your hand. Our conference will enlighten students and professionals alike of the best way to fight for climate change, through the minute everyday actions such as drinking your coffee out of a reusable cup.
The conference will have influential speakers, panel discussions and interactive workshops where people can learn the value of having a sustainable mindset and how to do it. There will also be a clothes swap and pop-up stalls selling environmentally friendly products and giving sustainable life hacks. We hope that the conference will inspire people to live better without breaking the bank. Get your tickets and be part of the shift to sustainable living, live the right way and do your role to combat climate change!
