Off The Lead Mk II

An enclosed park In Sheriffhall to let your Huskies run free. With a large fence, a close-able-gate and hopefully friends to play with. That involves you.

This meet was originally started in Prestonpans but due to local conflict of interest it had to stop, Barklay Park have kindly allowed us to use their grounds to keep the fun alive. It was a great event to attend and was held once every month and I would like to continue that on the last Saturday of every month. After all our Dogs are bigger than all of us.

No need to wake up too early tomorrow!!

We have a leisurely slot of 11am until 1pm tomorrow.

Can't wait to get down and see the fluff balls, it's been ages.

Is the week dragging already?

It feels like a long week until off the lead this Sunday, the usual 10am til 12noon!!

Hopefully the weather stays good for us.

Looking forward to seeing a few regulars and possibly some new fluffy faces!

Back to the normal 10am for tomorrow!!

So a little lie in if you're an early riser!

I'm still out of the country and Rebeca has another commitment.

The staff will have the gate open for 10am.

And we're back!!!!

We are on this Sunday from a slightly earlier time of 9am til 11am.

You can let the pooches run off the inevitable festive trimmings or tit bits that they were given or stolen!

Rebeca will be down to let you all in.

Further dates for the diary are
Saturday 27th 10 til 12
Sunday 11th Feb 10 til 12.

Did some say off the lead tomorrow?????

Indeed, the usual 10 til 12noon.

And a few dates for the diary:

SUNDAY the 10th December
SATURDAY the 16th December, this will be the last one of the the year.

Also just to note that there is a slight price increase from £2.00 to £2.50 per dog.
The field we use now has to be booked at £10 per hour plus £1 per dog.

I have agreed a flat rate of £2.50 with the owner.

The area is now subject to charge as before it was free and all monies were off to charity and matched by the owner.
As with all business, she has costs to cover and booking slots now eases any double bookings.

Still a great price for a great facility!

For the new year I am going to book alternate Saturday and Sundays, so potentially 2nd Sunday of the month and the usual last Saturday of the month.

Hopefully this helps those whom have to work a Saturday or have other commitments.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

Looks like the weather will be on our side too😎

Remember the NEW access will through the new pedestrian gate , directly into the field.

Parking as per normal, but please bare in mind that Barklay Park will be open and people will still be needing to park to drop off and collect their day care pooches.

Didn't manage to book tomorrow unfortunately.

Normal service shall resume next week, the usual 10am til 12 noon!

Good evening folks!

Sorry, but there won't be an off the lead tomorrow 😔

There will be a few changes to how it will be run, as Barklay park will now be open on a Saturday to its usual dog day care business, we will now have access through the new pedestrian gate directly into the field.

I will have to book this all on line in advance.

So I'm looking to book for next Sunday morning and then again for the following Saturday also and that should see us back on track.

I will post more over the weekend and the projected dates, once I have discussed it with the owner.
