Edinburgh Jewish Cultural Centre SCIO - Edinburgh Jewish Dialogue Edinburgh Jewish Cultural Centre has a Vision: to create a Scottish Jewish Cultural Centre transforming the Jewish landscape in Edinburgh and in Scotland.

The ambition is:

1. To make Jewish culture accessible to all
2. To become the focal point for sustaining and sharing Jewish life and arts, culture and learning

A little bird told me that my Edinburgh Book Festival tickets were sold out but happily a week after that I'll be doing this free event at what was my mother's old library when she lived on the Southside. Not all local residents go into town during the mad rush that is the Edinburgh festivals so it'll be nice to get out into the burbs. Tix from the library - it'll be fun.

Update: the eventbrite allocation for this library event is now sold out. But there are some tickets reserved for library users and you can pop into Newington Library and sign up for those. So ... to the library!

Established by the Board of Deputies of British Jews, its programme shows off exhibitions, plays, films and much more celebrating Jewish life across the United Kingdom. I was lucky...
