The Junction works with young people aged 12 - 21 in Leith and North East Edinburgh. We support young people to make the right choices for them so they can reach their full potential.

Only a week until our next Creative Hours session. 4.30-6.30pm Thursday 24th September.

This month we are going to play some old school group games and young people are welcome to come in fancy dress if they want, but there is no pressure to.

Excellent snackage and encouraging chat as always.

Places are limited, so book to avoid disappointment.

Big SHOUTOUT to all the young people who attended our recent Creative Hours session.

Great fun and results from trying this technique of lifting the pigment from packaging/newspapers/magazines using steel wool.

We’re looking forward to next month when two local young people will lead us in some group games.

The gloves were on at JYAs last week!

One of the things our youth advisors help us with is trying out new activities to see how they work in real life. This time we combined trying out negative space masking with chat about developing the new Creative Express strategy. Perfect combo!

As sad as we are to see them go (and we really are) we are also super excited for Danni and Marnie and Chuck-feng as they move on to pastures new. We have loved them being part of our Junction Family and appreciate all they have done for local young people in their time with us. We wish them great things in the future - knowing the organisations they are moving to are incredibly lucky to get them.
