When James was first diagnosed with mouth cancer, there wasn't a Maggie's nearby for support. But when he was diagnosed a second time, Maggie's was there.

"I was a bit scared to come through the doors the first time, but I was so glad I did.

"After everything I have been through – three lots of operations, three lots of speech and language therapy – I’ve had rehabilitation three times, but I am slowly learning to live with cancer.

“The Maggie’s Men’s Group is where I can open-up and bare my soul. Sometimes I might have a tough week but I know I will always leave Maggie’s feeling better.

“Some men might think men’s groups are not for them. we don’t always talk about cancer. we have a laugh and talk about football and holidays too.
