There’s herbaceous plants, some shrubs, annuals, small trees and pebble paths. There will be many herbaceous plants from cuttings for sale on the day.

The garden trail runs between Logie Green Gardens and Circus Place, tickets and maps are available at both ends.

Opening for charity on 20th and 21st June, Inveresk Village invites you to enjoy the beauty of domestic gardens, allotments and a National Trust for Scotland property, Inveresk Lodge.

There’s a range of hidden gems to discover including a television star, the garden of an eco-house, a tiered garden, one around a modern bungalow, Musselburgh’s highly-rated allotments and an interesting topiary hedge.

Come and explore this wonderful village whilst enjoying refreshments and Luca’s ice cream. (Please bring own mug to minimise environmental impact). It’s essential that able-bodied people do not park on the main A6124 road running through the village.

A Blackbird Sings is opening again for you to enjoy on 20th June. This diverse garden reflects East Lothian habitats and wildlife with heather moorland, grassland and woodland planting as well as wood carvings of local animals.

Come and see its ponds, water lilies, newts, waterfall and rockery; its cold conservatory with cacti and insectivorous plants; and its assortment of specimen trees, roses, ferns and paeonies.

If you can’t make it this time, A Blackbird Sings will be open again on the dates below and open by arrangement until 6th September.

Created over 30 years ago from open fields, you’ll find roses, irises, climbers, perennials, ornamental cherries, magnolias, philadelphus, syringa, roses, topiary and fantastic views towards the Lammermuirs.

⭐️ This Weekend ⭐️

Dirleton, one of Scotland’s prettiest conservation villages, will be a blaze of colour during its open weekend on 13th and 14th June.

Up to 15 gardens, unique in style and size and within a short walking distance of the village green, will be open for you to enjoy.

Your ticket also admits you to Dirleton Castle garden, featuring an impressive formal parterre and a herbaceous border over 200 yards, claimed to be one of the longest in the world!
