Thank you, Emma Roddick MSP for hosting a parliamentary briefing with Future Economy Scotland in the Scottish Parliament last week, where we delved into the economics of rent controls in theory and practise. Thanks to the attendees for the engaging discussion at this critical time ahead of stage two of the Housing (Scotland) Bill.

🏠 Exciting time to sponsor an event with Future Economy Scotland highlighting the widespread support in Scotland for rent controls, which are currently being brought forward by the SNP. Great discussion and myth-busting: rent controls can work for tenants, responsible landlords, and the economy.

👉 82% of Scots support rent controls; it’s important that MSPs work together cross-party to deliver the strongest possible system.
