Curious Edinburgh is a University of Edinburgh project to develop walking tours of sites of scientific and cultural interest in and around Edinburgh in the form of a mobile phone app and accompanying website. We provide tours on the history of science, technology and medicine, while also showing Edinburgh's communities and international connections. Curious Edinburgh is made by Science, Technology
and Innovation Studies (STIS) of the School of Political and Social Science, and we are working with EDINA and LTW to develop the infrastructure. Initial funds came from the University of Edinburgh’s Innovation Initiative Grant, the Edinburgh Alumni, and the Arts and Humanities Council (AHRC) Cultural Engagement Fund.
