12 October
Egypt: Beyond the Training Room
As GCS ministry continues in Egypt, pray that teaching would lead naturally into evangelism. Ask God for meaningful conversations in homes, cafés, journeys and everyday settings where genuine questions can be explored. May participants learn to listen carefully, understand the beliefs and questions shaping another person’s life, and explain Jesus with conviction.

10 October
Cambodia: Making Christ Understandable
Pray for Leang, who leads GCS ministry in Cambodia, where many people have little personal familiarity with the Christian faith. Ask God to use patient friendship, hospitality and authentic testimony to overcome cultural distance, allowing people to encounter Jesus not simply as a Western religious figure, but as Lord and Saviour.

9 October
South Africa: Beyond Rehabilitation
Remember men and women GCS has encountered through rehabilitation ministries in South Africa. Recovery often involves rebuilding damaged relationships, learning new patterns of life and facing circumstances once avoided through addiction. Pray for churches willing to walk patiently beside them and help new beginnings take deep root in Jesus Christ.

8 October – Egypt: Pray for Nassor
Pray for Nassor, an Egyptian GCS missionary involved in this week’s ministry. Ask God to deepen his confidence in Scripture and sharpen his ability to explain the Gospel naturally to those around him. May what is learned become part of everyday ministry rather than remaining confined to a training programme.

5 October
Pakistan: Freedom Must Become a Future
Pray for families released from bonded labour through GCS-supported initiatives in Pakistan. Freedom from debt is an important first step, but families also need sustainable livelihoods, education, and protection from renewed exploitation. Pray that practical freedom is accompanied by dignity, community and a growing understanding of freedom found in Christ.

3 October
Ukraine: The Church That Remains
Pray for pastors and believers continuing to serve war-affected communities across Ukraine. Some remain alongside elderly people, displaced families and those living close to danger when others have understandably left. Ask Christ to protect them, sustain their compassion and enable His Church to remain a faithful presence amid prolonged suffering.
