The Balerno Farmers Market should be good tomorrow but, due to illness of a key member of a group, unfortunately we won’t be able to have our planned stall.

It’s Apple Day this Saturday at Balerno Farmers Market and we’ll also be hosting a Fairtrade stall to mark the end of this year’s Fairtrade Fortnight. Please come along and say 👋

⏰ HOW TO ENTER

Simply bring your apple bake along to the Farmers’ Market and drop it off by 10am.

⏰ Market open 9am–1pm
📍 Balerno Main Street

Think you’ve got a showstopper up your sleeve? 🍎✨

If you’re looking for a great olive oil keep an eye out for this one. It lives up to expectation in flavour and is benefiting the farmers too.

Freshly crowned with a Great Taste Award, our Palestinian olive oil is pressed from hand-picked, rain-fed olives grown by small-scale farmers in the West Bank – the same farmers, the same trees, the same relationships we’ve built over more than twenty years. It has the distinctive warmth and peppery finish that has made Zaytoun olive oil a favourite for two decades.

Drizzle it. Dip into it. Cook with it. Or simply tear off a piece of good bread and taste why the judges loved it.

“This oil is light, fresh and grassy with a pleasant aroma and a delicate hint of peppery bitterness.”

From Glasgow to Gloucester, Edinburgh to Essex (and of course plenty of places in between), Fairtrade Fortnight events are taking over the map📍

This year we’re talking about fair pay because everyone deserves to earn enough to live, including the people who grow the cocoa, coffee, tea and other products that we love ☕️🍫💰

So whether you're up north, down south, or somewhere in between, there's probably a Fairtrade event with your name on it.

Find an event near you and join the movement ✊
