The closing date for applications to the role of Treasurer is Friday 31st July.
We are looking for someone with accountancy skills and an interest in community literacy to join our Board of Trustees. If you have the financial skills and would like to be part of a small, friendly and creative community charity then we would love to hear from you!

Thank you so much to all the wonderful families who joined us for our super busy and amazing Teddybears Picnic! All the Charlotte teddies are now happy in their forever homes! It was so much fun 🤩 Thank you to all the staff at Craigmillar Library for helping make it such a wonderful event and to our Storyteller in Residence Eric Brennan Storyteller for all the amazing Teddy stories! 🧸🧸🧸🎊🎊🎊

All our teddies are very excited for our Saturday Storytime in Craigmillar Library this Saturday 25th July at 11am. It’s the Teddy Bears’ Picnic out in the lovely library garden (weather permitting). Come along and get a gift teddy to take home! Our Storyteller in Residence will be sharing lots of Teddy stories and rhymes and songs! For babies and children under 4 with their parent/carer who live in our community. Older siblings welcome. 🧸🧸🧸🎈🎈🎈

Recipe books count as reading too! 🍽️

Because of this, our next Summer Reading Challenge inspired activity is... cupcake decorating. 🎂📖🍰

Come along and decorate a cake, whilst listening to calming classical music. There will also be a selection of recipe books available for you to look through and borrow - get inspired and also earn another sticker for the challenge!
