To everyone, As we say goodbye to our wonderful staff and volunteers, they wanted to leave you with a lasting message of thanks and gratitude 🙏 🥹

● Dear friends and family of Ashbrook,
Today, we say goodbye to our wonderful staff and volunteers who have shared their heart and soul with Ashbrook and our extremely amazing clients, customers, and community members,
Everyday you shared a gift to me, of shared experiences, support, kindness, friendship, and so much more, every smile, has left a mark on my soul, and heart, thank you all for being there I wish you all the best blessing and peace with lots of love Caramen ❤️

●The moments we shared were that we could be truly vulnerable and support each other through thick and thin, warm regards ♡

●I have learned a lot from you all, and I will carry this with me on to my next chapter, wishing all happiness and success. Please do not be a stranger Xx

● It is with a very sad heavy heart that I am writing this today, my colleagues and I have become not just friends but family, also all our customers who we will miss dearly, It was lovely getting to know each and every one of you, as you to have become part of our Ashbrook family, I will miss you all very much,

As we say our last goodbyes, we would be honoured if you would join us for a special valedictory service to celebrate the memories we have all created together.
It will be a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for our time as a community space,

We want to honour the countless families, children, young adults, and vulnerable members, including those with dementia who have made this space so special ❤️

Dear valued customers, families, and friends of Ashbrook Community Cafe, meeting facilities and therapeutic community garden.
It is with great regret that we announce the permanent closure of Ashbrook, including our meeting facilities, Cafe and Community Gardens, effective Friday, 24th of October.
Four the past four years, it has been our privilege to serve this Wonder community as a welcoming safe space, especially for individuals living with dementia and their families, as well as other vulnerable groups, their carers and friends. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey - our dedicated volunteers, compassionate staff, and all our regular visitors and guests who made Ashbrook special. We have treasured every moment of sharing stories, laughter, and friendships, and the memories created together will always remain.

Some highlights from the healing garden, with new buds and signs of life appearing each day,

Our therapeutic garden I open Monday to Saturday 10.30 am to 17.00pm

Cafe hours are 10.30pm to 14.30pm, Monday to Friday,
Refreshments and snacks are available from the cafe to enjoy in the garden 😋

We are feeling blessed to have such a in the community 😀

Ashbrooks therapeutic garden, I am happy to share with you all that our healing garden is really taking shape after delays with all the late ground frost to spring,

We have now added seated logs and a bench so you can take a moment and surround yourself within the healing herbs,
Breath in the beautiful smells, stroll the garden, and have a moment of reflection.

Big shout out to our talented gardener Carmen, Thank you for all your time , love, and hard work in the garden 👏❤️

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Adopt the peace of nature, her secret is patience.
To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment.
