Many thanks to the very kind generous boat owner who has donated 2 sets of waders to our dry dock maintenance team. Every little helps us keep this unique facility on the Union Canal running smoothly and efficiently.

Everyone is welcome. One of the smaller boats to use our dry dock facility this year. "Drops of Brandy" normally moored in Edinburgh, but made the short trip out to Ratho for a week of a wee bit TLC.

We are extremely saddened to advise of the passing of our David Mieras who died yesterday afternoon, after a short time in hospital and more recently, a care home.
David was a stalwart of Seagull Trust Cruises, and without doubt did more than anyone for the trust ~ indeed David was the Seagull Trust. David, an Edinburgh man, was Chair at the Ratho branch for many years, and had also recently retired as Chair of the Executive Board.
Our thoughts are with his wife Isobel, his family and friends, and all the volunteers who crewed with him throughout the many years he gave to Seagull Trust Cruises

The LUCS Canal Fun Day will be taking place on Sunday the 2nd of August! Starting at 1pm at the Linlithgow Canal Centre.
