What a Commonwealth Games for our athletics team at ! 😎

Four gold medals (our best since Edinburgh 1970) and seven medals between six athletes - half of these medallists were Para athletes!

Everyone who was inspired by our team deserves access to our sport and that's where we come in. Athletics Trust Scotland is the charity arm of Scottish Athletics and we are dedicated to ensuring everyone can participate regardless of cost, disability or other social barriers.

You can donate to us through the link on our bio or on our website! 🏴

So proud of our Para athletes at the Commonwealth Games! 😍

Amazing to see golds for Melanie Woods (so good she did it twice!) as well as our Paralympic champion Ben Sandilands, accompanied on the podium by Steven Bryce.

Athletics Trust Scotland's mission is to make athletics accessible to everyone, including disabled athletes. This includes covering costs for wheelchair parts and funding training groups.

If you feel inspired by our athletes, please consider donating or fundraising for Athletics Trust Scotland. Links in our bio 🫶💙

A huge congratulations to Kilmarnock Harriers on another fantastic Roon the Toon 10K, which raised an amazing £1,484 for Athletics Trust Scotland during Scottish Running Week 🔵⚪️🔵

With 2,750 runners taking to the streets, this year’s event was made even more special as it celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The impact doesn’t stop there – donations were also made to the Ayrshire Athletics Partnership, helping to support disadvantaged young people and create more opportunities to get involved in athletics.

Thank you to everyone who ran, volunteered, supported and donated. Together, you’re helping change lives through sport and inspiring the next generation of athletes 🫶

Our Head of Fundraising and Development Karen Wilson and Scottish Athletics' Head of Development and Participation paid a visit to the club to thank them for their efforts

We are delighted to announce that we have received over £4,500 from the Glasgow 2026 Festival Fund to deliver our Mini Commonwealth Games celebration event at Crownpoint Stadium in Glasgow on 15 July ✨

Thanks to this support, 80 local children from two weekly community groups that Athletics Trust Scotland organises, will come to the track, giving them a chance to meet other kids and get excited for the Commonwealth Games! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😍
