Wellbeing and resilience are no longer side topics โ€” they are central to the future of work. Employers know that a healthy, supported workforce is more innovative, productive, and engaged. Employees know that resilience must be built together, not carried alone.

Thatโ€™s why this October, Scotland will host the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit & Festival โ€” a 5-day gathering dedicated to the theme:
โœจ Wellbeing & Resilience: Thriving in a Changing World โœจ

Across these five days, leaders, employees, and changemakers will explore the real challenges shaping our workplaces:
โœจEmployees wellbeing
โœจThe cost of living crisis & in-work poverty
โœจHybrid working & burnout
โœจUK Immigration complexities
โœจThe evolution of AI & Gaps
โœจ Entrepreneurship between continents
โœจPeople management in uncertain times

This is a movement to reimagine work in Scotland, with multicultural talent at its heart.

We Are STEM. We Are DataKirk.

STEM is everywhere โ€“ from the air we breathe, to the jobs we do, to the futures we dream of.

Yet systemic barriers continue to exclude far too many of our young people, especially from New Scot and low-income communities, from real access and opportunities in STEM.

Every day, we lose untapped brilliance, bold innovation, and fresh perspectives that could change the world.

At DataKirk, we are committed to disrupting this exclusion. Weโ€™re a grassroots organisation focused on empowering communities, society, and the planet through equitable access to STEM education, literacy, and career pathways.

Join Us at the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Festival โ€“ A Celebration of Diversity and Culture!

Though we may face hidden struggles that bring tears to our eyes, we will be alright. For too long, our voices have been ignored, and our stories overlooked.

But now, we stand united, stronger than ever, ready to share our cultures, talents, and dreams. Itโ€™s time for everyone to notice.

On 2nd November 2024, the first-ever Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Festival will take place in Glasgow. This event is a powerful declaration of our unity and resilience.

This festival is more than just an occasion; itโ€™s a celebration of our identity and heritage. Itโ€™s a platform to highlight the extraordinary richness and diversity within Scotlandโ€™s minority ethnic communities.

Through music, art, dance, traditional ethnic games, fashion show and food, we will bring our traditions to life. Each performance will beat like the heart of our communities, each dish will offer a taste of home.

The festival will be a space for us to connect, laugh, and celebrate our shared experiences.

This is our opportunity to share our stories. Stories that have often gone unheard, with a broader audience, fostering understanding and solidarity.

We invite everyone to join us: to listen, to learn, and to embrace the diversity that makes Scotland vibrant and inclusive.

Get your tickets now and be part of this groundbreaking celebration!
