The sun popped out just in time for us to host our first event of the year in the orchard 🌱🌼 Thanks to everyone who came along to our cake and plant afternoon, which also included the opening of our community library 📚 by some of our senior and junior residents! All monies raised today will be donated to Community for Food and Wester Hailes Garden initiative.

Thanks to everyone who made it along to our egg hunt this morning, it was lovely to see so many keen collectors running around the Hailes woodland in the sunshine! ☀️ Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend and we shall see you all again in the Orchard for our cake and plant event on Saturday 9th May 🍀🌺🍰

Sadly the weather is against us tomorrow so sadly we’re cancelling. We don’t postpone at Christmas as it’s such a busy time. However the elves are creating a plan to make sure we still have a special postbox for Santa letters in the next week. Will update asap!

Thank you to everyone who ordered a Christmas wreath, we are now sold out! Our next Christmas event in the Orchard is on Sunday 7th December (weather dependent) All welcome for mince pies, Santa post and seasonal cheer from 3.30-4.30pm. Hope to see you there! 🎄🎅🥧🍷

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our event in Hailes Orchard on Sunday afternoon! Tasty cakes were consumed, jam was stocked up and wee ones became nature artists!

It was another lovely event and we raised an amazing £400 which will be divided between charities Community for Food, Wester Hailes Growing Communities, and keeping enough to make sure we can cover costs.

Also at our cake and jam event today from 2.30-4pm....Come along and create your own unique art using nature’s treasures! When you’re done, we’ll snap a photo of your masterpiece and return everything back to nature. Not just for kids if you fancy having a go! Just like the bug hotels in spring, it’s free and you get a certificate and a wee treat!
