I've just come off my Sunday morning sober self love club. We had a new woman join us. She finally got to see that although she's special there's nothing that special about finally seeing that alcohol no longer serves her!

Tonight at 7pm me and a group of sober and sober curious women are meeting on zoom to reflect on the month past, plan for the month ahead but most importantly - we're sitting in community.

The communities I run are so supportive, fun, a little unhinged and always welcoming!

Journaling helped me massively in early sobriety and is still my favourite self care tool today, 8 and a half years sober ✨✌🏼💚

We meet at 12pm, outside the Cafe Truva, grab a coffee, and head out for a wander along the Water of Leith to Stockbridge. This walk takes roughly an hour. You can leave once we get to Stockbridge or head back along the Water of Leith.

It’s one of the easiest, most relaxed ways to meet new people without alcohol. No pressure, no awkwardness, just good chats and fresh air. Dugs and children welcome!

Somebody came that was at an event I put on 7 years ago! Time flies when yer never wasting a day hungover 😆😜

Another amazing turn out of amazing people - and some dugs (DUGS) kids and some of us got in the sea. 🌊

Community is so important, for me as well as everyone who comes - so a massive thank you to ya all. I think yer aw wonderful ✌🏼✨💚

🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH (and every day of the year!) 🌈

The wonderful is such a brilliant lassie and an amazing friend to the SoberBuzz community. And like she said, she's met some of her besties through the community (they know who they are! Hiiiiii!)

SoberBuzz is an inclusive community for everyone!

Hannah and I will be at the Recovery Connects festival on July 6th at Queens Park Glasgow and if you'd like to meet up with us you can let us know - I'll share more info later this month.

Last night me and a pal headed over to see Live Show Trauma Industrial Complex and there was plenty food for thought.

My friend and I carried on the conversation on the way home and I know lots of my pals on here would enjoy it too.

Darren also spoke about how he is promoting this tour himself (not an easy thing to do!) so every share and ticket bought can really help him as an artist and author. There are still tickets left for some of his shows and you can buy his book too (I'm looking forward to getting started on my copy)

Shows are across Scotland with another in Leith in June. If you've been or are going I'd love to hear your thoughts!
