🏥 Direct Impact on the Wards
🎁 Welcome Activity Packs: Every child on a ward now receives an age-appropriate welcome pack to help ease their stay.
🧩 Sensory Support: Children with sensory needs receive specially tailored items designed just for them.
🍭The Lollietrollie: Kids in A&E and across the wards get to experience the joy of our famous Lollietrollie—filled with bubble-making magic 🫧, balloon blowing 🎈, and plenty of hilarious farting noises! 😂
🚀 Growing Our Reach
👥 Volunteer Growth: We’ve expanded our active ward-visiting volunteer team from 15 to 31, with another 17 volunteers in the pipeline! 🎉
🌙 More Nights of Play: This growth allowed us to increase our service from 2 to 3 nights a week, meaning we will reach 250 more children with our Playdio service by the end of 2026. 📻💛
🏆 Pre-COVID Milestone: We are on track to launch a 4th night early in 2027—marking the very first time we’ll be operating at 4 nights since before COVID! 🎊👏
Without your big heart, kind donations, and support, none of this would be possible. Our children spending time in hospital would not be lifted by the engagement and interactions through our unique service of Playdio, and for that we are forever grateful! 💛✨🙏
