Westerhaven will be taking part in the Cancer Card Health and Wellbeing Event on Sunday, April 13th, 2025. This event is for anyone affected by cancer, as well as carers, family, and friends. This event will take place at RBS Gogarburn Conference Suite in Edinburgh from 11.00-14.00 with time for visits to stalls and some brief introductory talks and interactive sessions. There will also be an option to join in with fitness, fashion and make-up tutorials. Discover valuable resources to support your holistic wellbeing and connect with a supportive community. Parking is available at the venue. Please follow the purple signs from RBS entrance to the Conference Centre. The car park is free of charge, you may need to buzz to get through the barrier and a code will be available for exit, but a volunteer will be on hand to help you if required. Disabled access is available in the venue.

We would love you to come along to our Festive Fair being held next week. This event is free for all members of the local community and there will be tasty seasonal food 🥕🍠, carol singing 🎶 from the Medical Practice, music from Big Noise 🎻🎷, hot drinks and an activity from Grass Roots Remedies Co-op 🌱 and craft 🎨👩‍🎨🎭 and information stalls!

It is now only 7 more sleeps 😴 until our annual Festive 🎄 Fair which will take please next Wednesday between 1pm and 3pm at The Healthy Living Centre✨️🤶

Edinburgh Leisure will be coming to The Garden Kitchen 🌺 Lunch 🥣 tomorrow to chat to local people about what exercise activities 🚴‍♂️⛹️🧘‍♀️🏊‍♀️ they can offer in the area! If you would like to get involved, come and say hello 👋 between 12.30pm and 1.30pm!

The votes have also been counted and verified for tomorrow's St Andrew's Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Menu, so we will be cooking up a big warming pot of Leek 🌱 Tattie 🥔 and Kale 🍃 Soup 🍲 which will be followed by homemade Bread 🍞 and Butter 🧈 Pudding 🍮 Yum 😀

Westerhaven services are available for adults living in the South West of Edinburgh affected by Cancer and long-term health conditions (including MS, Parkinson's, COPD, and heart issues). Services are also available for carers and loved ones.
