Cash for Kids Midlands

Cash for Kids helps the children that need it most across the Midlands. We support those who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.

Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity that fundraises to help disadvantaged children across the Midlands. Our grants to families, community organisations and local charities provide support to families who often have nowhere else to go. Raised local, stays local, all donations in the Midlands will stay in our community making a difference to local children. In 2023 we raised £1million supporting 18,328 children. ⚽ Every England player starts somewhere... and for two of the Midlands' biggest football stars, it all began at grassroots clubs.

Before representing England on the world stage, Jude Bellingham took his first footballing steps at Stourbridge Juniors, while Morgan Rogers started his journey with Halas Hawks in Halesowen. Today, they're inspiring the next generation while proudly representing both their country and the Midlands.

Who knows where the next Jude or Morgan could come from?

Through the Cash for Kids Midlands Sports Challenge, we're helping grassroots sports clubs raise vital funds so they can make sport more accessible for children and young people across our region.

Because every child deserves the chance to discover their potential, build confidence, make lifelong friendships and simply enjoy the opportunity to play.

🏆 Could your Sports Club do with a funding boost?

The Cash for Kids Midlands Sports Challenge is back, giving grassroots sports clubs and organisations the chance to raise vital funds while making sport more accessible to children and young people across the Midlands.

Every club keeps 100% of the money they raise, with the opportunity to receive additional top-up funding from Cash for Kids, meaning your fundraising can go even further.

🥇 1st Prize: £5,000
🥈 2nd Prize: £2,500
🥉 3rd Prize: £1,500

But that's not all...

💚 Every other finalist who raises £2,000 or more will receive an additional £500.

That means every club has the opportunity to walk away with extra funding to invest in equipment, facilities, new sessions or reducing the cost of taking part.

But for some local children, the summer holidays can feel very different. Rising living costs mean that even simple items many of us take for granted can be out of reach.

At 00:00 tonight (Monday 10th August), applications officially open for the Cash for Kids Midlands Sports Challenge – and this year, we're looking for just 15 grassroots sports clubs to take part.

This isn't just another fundraising event. It's a guaranteed funding opportunity designed to help grassroots clubs raise vital funds while making sport more accessible to children and young people across the Midlands.

Whether you're looking to invest in new equipment, subsidise memberships, launch new sessions or remove financial barriers for families, the Sports Challenge is here to help.

But be quick… places are limited to just 15 organisations, so we expect them to fill fast.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting Soffio Lounge in Stourbridge to receive an incredible cheque for £907.98! 💙🎉

This amazing total was raised throughout June as part of Lounge Aid, and we couldn't be more grateful that Soffio Lounge chose Cash for Kids Midlands as their charity partner for Lounge Aid this year.

A huge thank you to the fantastic team and every single customer who donated, took part and supported the campaign. Your generosity will help us continue supporting disadvantaged children and young people across the Midlands, providing help where it's needed most.
