💙💜🧡 Supporting Last Chance Animal Rescue, Edenbridge 🧡💜💙

We were delighted to visit Last Chance Animal Rescue today to hand over a donation of £91.02, along with a big box of dog treats for some of their four-legged residents! 🐾🐶

It was lovely to meet the team, learn a little more about the fantastic work they do and, of course, sneak in a cuddle with one of the gorgeous dogs!

A huge thank you to everyone who supports Together & Giving and our fundraising – every penny we raise helps us continue supporting wonderful organisations and causes in our local community. 💙

💙💜🧡 Helping Hands Out & About in Our Community 🧡💜💙

Our Helping Hands volunteers have been busy recently, lending a hand at both the Four Elms Fete and the Marsh Green Summer Fete.

Whether it’s helping with setting up, supporting during an event, or packing everything away afterwards, we’re always proud to support our local community. It’s amazing what can be achieved when people come together, and we’re passionate about neighbours helping neighbours.

A huge thank you to the organisers and all the volunteers who gave their time to make both events such a success. We hope everyone had a fantastic day!

🎉 Community Squares Making a Difference! 🎉

We were delighted to present Edenbridge Community Christmas Association (ECCA) with their Community Squares Big Cheque after being selected as one of our winning local organisations.

Thanks to everyone who took part in our Community Squares at local events, we’re able to support fantastic community groups like ECCA, who work tirelessly each year to bring festive magic to Edenbridge through events, activities and Christmas celebrations for our community.

🛠️ We’re at the Edenbridge Repair Café today! ☕♻️

Come along and say hello to the Together & Giving team – we’d love to see you!

Whether you have something that needs repairing, fancy finding out more about what the Repair Café does, or just want to have a chat with your local community groups, pop in and see us.

The talented Repair Café volunteers will do their best to repair your household items, helping to save money, reduce waste and keep perfectly good items out of landfill. Repairs are free, although donations are always welcome to support the project.

⚠️ Please note: There will be no Repair Café during August, so if you’ve been meaning to come along, today is the perfect opportunity!

🎉 Congratulations to Edenbridge Bonfire Society! 🎉

We’re delighted to announce Edenbridge Bonfire Society as one of our Community Squares winners! 👏

Edenbridge Bonfire Society is at the heart of our town’s traditions, bringing the community together each year for the spectacular Bonfire Procession and Fireworks Display. Their dedicated volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year to organise one of Edenbridge’s biggest annual events, helping to keep this much-loved tradition alive while creating lasting memories for families and visitors alike.

As a volunteer-led organisation, they give countless hours behind the scenes planning events, fundraising, building the procession and supporting our local community. Their passion and commitment make a real difference to Edenbridge.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Community Squares game. Every square purchased not only gives local organisations the chance to win a donation but also helps Together & Giving continue supporting community groups and good causes across the area.

🐾 DOG SHOW CANCELLED 🐾

It is with great disappointment that we have made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s Together & Barking Dog Show due to the high temperatures forecasted.

The welfare of the dogs in our care has always been our number one priority, and we simply don’t feel it would be safe to ask them to compete or spend prolonged periods outdoors in these conditions.

We know many of you were looking forward to the event, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us by entering, sponsoring, volunteering and sharing our event.

If you pre-booked your entries, we will be in touch regarding your refund as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding. While we’re incredibly disappointed, we’re sure you’ll agree that the health and wellbeing of our four-legged friends must always come first. ❤️🐶
