💚 WE DID IT — THANK YOU! 💚

We are absolutely thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible support and all those green tokens, Edenbridge Primary School PTFA has been awarded £1,500 from Waitrose & Partners ! 🎉💚

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful local community for choosing to support us and popping your tokens into our box. Every single vote really did count! 🥰

This £1,500 will go directly to our charity, helping us continue to fund resources, experiences and opportunities that benefit both the current and future children of Edenbridge Primary School. 🏫✨

We’re so lucky to have such a supportive community behind our school, and we genuinely couldn’t do what we do without you.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! 💚🙌🏼

👻 YEARS 1–6 ONLY
A little reminder that this Monster Ball is for children in Years 1–6. From previous experience, our Reception children haven’t enjoyed the Monster Ball quite as much, so they’ll be invited to our next disco in the spring term, which is much better suited to them! 💜

🎃 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YEARS 1 & 2:
Come to school in your spookiest costume or favourite party outfit for the day, so when school finishes, you’re ready to get dancing straight away! 🪩✨

🎟️ PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE CORRECT TICKET!
When booking, please make sure you purchase a ticket for the correct year group for your child and enter their correct class name on the registration form.

We have a limited number of tickets available for each Monster Ball, so it’s really important that tickets aren’t accidentally purchased for the wrong year group, as this could take a space away from a child attending that session.

⚠️ IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION:

🎟️ No ticket sales will be accepted after Friday 9th October at 2pm.
🔄 Tickets cannot be swapped.
❌ If you need to cancel your ticket for any reason, cancellation requests must be made to the PTFA by Friday 9th October at 2pm. After this time, no refunds will be issued.

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ HELPERS NEEDED!
We’d love some extra helping hands to make the Monster Ball happen! If you’re able to volunteer, you can register to help through RallyUp when completing the registration. Any help is hugely appreciated! 💜

We’re delighted to share that we raised £41.00! 🎉

A special thank you to the lovely parent who stepped in to run the sale on behalf of the PTFA today, as we were unable to attend due to work commitments. We are so grateful for your kindness and willingness to help! 💚

We’d absolutely love to welcome our Reception children too, but from previous Monster Balls, we’ve found that our youngest children haven’t always enjoyed the evening as much as we’d hoped. 💛

But don’t worry, Reception — we haven’t forgotten you! We’ll be holding another exciting disco in the Spring Term, especially one that you’ll be invited to join! 🌸🪩

Get your dancing shoes ready… the Monster Ball is coming! 🎃🕷️

Thank you in advance for supporting another one of our events! 💛

The children absolutely love our discos, and we’re already planning more than one disco for this school year — so watch this space... 👀🪩

We can’t wait to see you all there! 🎉

✏️ Happy to announce that we have funded another year of Letter-Join!

✨ But what is Letter-Join?

Letter-Join is a handwriting programme designed for all pupils, supporting children to develop their handwriting skills through structured, engaging activities. 📚

Our teachers have been using Letter-Join throughout the last year, and we have received some really positive feedback about the programme and the impact it has had on handwriting across the school. 📝

We’re delighted to continue using Letter-Join for another year and look forward to seeing our pupils continue to develop their handwriting skills! ✍🏼

Tonight we started our bonfire float project 🔥

We have a great team this year and I am SO grateful for the extra pairs of hands 🙏

We made a great start tonight, measuring up, painting and even the kids got involved!

If anyone wants to join our team, message me and I can add you to the bonfire WhatsApp group ⚡

We will be at the farm evenings and weekends, posting our availability every Sunday for the week 🗓️

The kids did amazing today and enjoyed helping 🐒

Our first purchase of the year was a little memorable keepsake for our new Reception starters, a Worry Bear keyring, along with a little poem 🧸💛

We brought these last year and loved them so much that we decided to bring them back again for this year's Reception intake.

We hope these little bears help ease any worries the children may have about starting a new school over the next few weeks.
Although we know they are in the very best of hands, we hope having their little Worry Bear with them will give them some extra comfort and reassurance ⭐

Reception parents, these have now been handed over to Miss Dunn and Miss Todd and will be given out to the children on their first full day in Reception.

Wishing all of our new starters the happiest beginning to their school journey at Edenbridge Primary School 🌈🧸💛

We would also like to thank for supplying these for us for the second year running, her Etsy shop is full of the cutest little keepsakes, highly recommend Claire and her products ♥️
