Over the coming months, UNISON is making some changes to its digital systems to improve your experience as a member and give you more control over how we keep in touch with you. As part of this, we're changing how you manage the emails you receive from us, and we wanted to let you know how it will affect you.

Currently, members can choose whether to receive marketing communications or not. The new preference centre will go further, allowing you to tailor what you receive by selecting the types of communication that matter most to you. As always, you'll still be able to opt out of marketing emails altogether if you wish.

You'll be able to access this preference centre in your new member account. We'll be sharing more information about that soon, explaining what you can expect from it, and inviting you to activate your account.

We're working hard behind the scenes to make sure the transition is smooth and that your information continues to be managed securely and in line with data protection legislation.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in UNISON.

Still undecided who to vote for in the ? - Check out this useful guide, which highlights where the parties stand on your pay, your job and your services.

On 7 May there are Senedd elections taking place. Not every candidate stands for working people. These scorecards show where the main parties stand on the issues that matter at work and in our communities.

Your vote is your power – use it for your community.

We are live at 6pm today with a rally for public services, and you’re invited to join us.

Over the hour, you’ll hear directly from UNISON Cymru members working in social care, schools, health, local government, energy and higher education, alongside our general secretary, Andrea Egan.

This election is about the services we rely on every day and the people who keep them running. When we come together and speak as one, we can shape what happens next.

We know things are stretched. Pay has not kept up with rising costs. Services are under pressure. But there is a clear choice about the future of Wales.

We need a Welsh Government that backs public service workers with fair pay, invests in our NHS, councils and care, and keeps services focused on people, not profit.

The Senedd elections on 7 May are about public services in Wales. The parties that control the Welsh Parliament will decide the future of your job and those of your colleagues.

If you’re uncertain about what the Welsh Government does, what the election is actually about or how it will work, it can stop you from making your voice heard. And when you don’t vote, decisions about public services are made without you.

That’s why UNISON Cymru is running regular lunchtime and early evening online ‘Use your vote in Wales’ sessions in the run-up to the election. They are designed to be non-partisan and factual, and to help you understand more about devolution and the new electoral system.
