Hi Everyone - Just to let you all know that we are closed on Good Friday so this week leading up to Easter weekend we are only open in our Aberbeeg Foodbank centre on Thursday from 10am to 1pm - closed on Friday in Brynmawr but back to normal the following week. Have a lovely Easter break.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to the aftermath of Storm Goretti and the heavy snowfalls overnight in the Blaenau Gwent area making side roads impassible we regret to advise that our Brynmawr Foodbank Centre will be closed today. Your safety and the safety of our volunteers and all those that use our Foodbank are paramount and we apologise for the inconvenience this causes. Hi everyone - as we get even closer to our Festive Season please note that those who need help have limited opportunities now to arrange a Foodbank parcel with us following recent changes. Due to operational issues our Beaufort Foodbank Centre is closed for the time being. Our only 2 centres open are at Aberbeeg and Brynmawr so please see below the opening hours and cut off point for preparation of food parcels.

We’ll do everything we can to be there for people facing hardship. But we can’t do it without your support.

Until Saturday 29 November, we’re collecting donations of food and other essential items at local Tesco stores in Blaenau Gwent in Abertillery and Ebbw Vale].

It’s not right that people in Blaenau Gwent are facing hunger and hardship this winter.

We’re doing everything we can to be there for our community. But we need your help.

If you’re heading to the shops this week, please donate to us at the Winter Food Collection.

You can find us at Abertillery and Ebbw Vale Tesco stores from Thursday 27th November until Saturday 29 November.

Hi everyone - thank you so much for your continued support of Blaenau Gwent Foodbank. We are again desperately low in carrier bags that we can pack the food so please consider if you have an overflowing supply at home that you donate some to us. Our Beaufort Centre is particularly urgent so you can drop them off at Church on the Rise 54 Beaufort Rise Beaufort on Mon, Tue or Wed between 12 and 3pm. Thanks for thinking of us. We need your donations!
We're partnering with Blue Cross and Pets at Home to help feed pets in the local area. Your donations will help keep people and their pets together 💙
We have been collecting from Pets at Home Brynmawr from Monday 21 July and will continue up until Sunday 10 August.
For a few hours today meet up with our Blaenau Gwent Food Bank Project Manager who will be present this morning.
