Today is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. 💜
And we want to use it to say something a little different from the usual awareness posts.
I don't just want to raise awareness of the symptoms today the widespread pain, the fatigue, the brain fog, the sleep disruption and the hundreds of invisible ways fibromyalgia impacts daily life.
We want to raise awareness of the person living inside all of that.
The person who still shows up for their family, friends, work and responsibilities even when they’re running on empty. Who has searched endlessly for answers. Who has sat in appointments feeling dismissed, frustrated, unheard, or invisible and still somehow finds the strength to keep going.
The person who has quietly grieved the life they thought they’d have while slowly, painfully and bravely learning how to build a new version of life around chronic pain and exhaustion.
People living with fibromyalgia deserve more than awareness. They deserve real understanding, practical support, compassion, and to be genuinely listened to. They deserve to be seen, heard and given the tools to truly thrive.
That’s what we want to stand for. Every single day.
