We've improved the acoustics in the Village Hall for us all and what a difference it makes, with no more reverberating sound that had made conversation and music in the hall difficult to hear and uncomfortable.
Yesterday, with the help of a small volunteer team, comprising of Trustees, an Easterton Parish Councillor, and villagers), and the loan of scaffolding from a villager, we were able to save on further installation costs of the acoustic panels and do the job ourselves.
We would like to give thanks to the installation team, to the late Dennis L. (for his bequest), the Devizes Wiltshire Area board (for their grant), and to Volunteer Easterton Parish Councillor Nick Fuller (who led/helped with the grant bid).
What a great community we have around us, and who many offer their time and support to make and keep the Easterton Village hall a great venue for us all to use - thank you!
We've shared a few pics of the installation moments. There were 2 more in the team who haven't appeared on the pics unfortunately (Andy and Rebecca, the latter being the person taking the photos).

Thank you to our amazing community! You have so far helped us raise £11,825 towards our target!
We still have a long way to go and look forward to your continued support with fund raising events/activities, and the aim to keep your village hall in 'good health' for your use for many more years to come.
