It is finally here - our newly rebranded WI Magazine: and a new way to provide you deep-dives and longer interviews on all things NFWI.

Fittingly for a summer issue, we present 10 pages on beach life, and spotlight some wonderful coastal WIs. We've also got a new section where your questions are answered by a WI panel in 'WIsdom'; a piece on slow crafting; and all your favourites from recipes to campaign updates.

We really hope you enjoy your new magazine, and that you find it a great read for the summer!

🔨 Woodwork Workshop: Supporting Local Wildlife
Join us for a unique hands-on opportunity at the National Trust Slindon Estate. Learn or practice woodwork skills while helping to create essential habitats for local species like Kestrels, Tawny Owls, Pine Martens, and Barn Owls.

The varied and interesting monthly programme carefully considered and arranged by our dedicated committee continues to be very stimulating and enjoyable for all concerned.
Members at our March meeting had a very productive morning designing and decorating a tote bag. All the equipment was provided by one of our very creative members who demonstrated what we had to do with the inks and blocks which she had brought along to the meeting. Thank you Sue!! The Indian blocks included flowers, leaves and butterflies. Different coloured inks were applied to the blocks and then printed on to cotton tote bags. Each bag was very individual and members had a lovely time thinking about their colours and designs. We almost had no time for refreshments as the activity was so absorbing!!
Our monthly coffee morning took place at Harbour Lights, Littlehampton. We await the countryside to dry out a little before our walks can recommence. We are all looking forward to the warmer weather and the spring.
Eastergate Friends meet at Eastergate Village Hall on the second Monday of each month between 10 and 12pm. All are very welcome to join our happy group.
