PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE CLOTHING AT THE MOMENT. We have so much amazing, good quality items - please visit and take.
We will be serving tea, coffee and biscuits in the main hall with a seating area!!!!!

We work in partnership with UKHarvest and Nyton House Limited Residential Care Home to prevent food waste and insecurity. Donations WELCOMED no matter how small - all received go back into this wonderful project to help our community and assist UKHarvest in the amazing work that they do.
The Eastergate Village Hall volunteers are incredible and work so very hard to make this happen. PLEASE BRING A BAG!!!!! Please visit to stop this food going to waste ❤️.

ZUMBA EVENING CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT!

From September Josh will be running a weekly Zumba class at our lovely hall.
Every Thursday at 6pm.
Low commitment, pay as you go, £10 per class.

A black rucksack was accidentally put into our clothing swap this morning but it was actually a repair. If you picked it up please can you contact Nina ASAP. It has paperwork inside that will make it obvious it’s a repair

What a lovely afternoon! Many thanks to Mark and team from Chefs On The Move for a wonderful Summer community roast lunch. A massive thank you to Westergate House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare for their continued support to these very important Sundays - what a fabulous local community minded home you are ❤️. A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who helped clear away at the end - what a difference you make ❤️. Our next roast is on Sunday 4th October - more details to follow soon.

Although our support comes to an end from West Sussex recycles. We have been working hard behind the scenes and will have some exciting news to share very soon!!!!

Waste Prevention Community Grant Fund Spotlight - Barnham and Eastergate Community Trust Waste Prevention Project

Engaging with local communities through cookery and food education sessions, clothing swaps, textile classes, toy swaps, and furniture exchange and repair advice, Barnham and Eastergate Community Trust were able to divert 4,362kg of materials and engage with 6,869 residents at sessions in community halls.

The group has seen a growing number of volunteers, and has helped develop a culture of reuse within the community.
