Just a quick photo from our talk at Sheerness Dockyard Church on Saturday as part of the Festival of Sheppey.
It was great day with some fascinating talks and we were very pleased to be able to take part.
Pictured from left to right are, Craig from the Kent Archaeological Society who brought along some great Sheppey exhibits, Martin Verrier who had some unique photos of Sheerness Dockyard and ships being repaired there, Andrew Byrne who organised the day and spoke about Rennie and the rebuilding of the Dockyard, Patrick Wright who gave an intriguing talk about Sheerness, Sheppey and the Dockyard. Finally, Martin and Rosemary from the museum who just for a change didn't speak about aviation but talked about 200 years of tourism on Sheppey.
Thanks to all those who attended. We look forward to welcoming you at the museum soon.
Don't forget that for everyone coming to visit the us this month you can bring a friend for free every Tuesday and Friday, also as part of the Festival of Sheppey.
