We share digital skills to improve lives. Helping adults, young people, schools, businesses, councils and government since 2013

Technology surrounds us, and we’re here to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to make the most of it. Sometimes we act as consultants, offering support and expertise as needed. Often we see a gap that needs to be filled, and set ourselves to the task! Recent work includes:

- establishing a weekly coding club for year 5 students in a local school

- refurbishing laptops and donating the

m to people in need

- offering 1-1 help for adults with digital skills challenges

- 3D printing protective face visors during the Covid pandemic

- providing consultancy advice to a local council who wanted to create a maker space

- winning central government funding to create a nationwide digital inclusion website

Busy days at TechResort's new HQ in Eastbourne Town Hall. We've now got more space so it's easier to work on laptops and phones for donation to people who need them. But our waiting list outstrips our supply of devices - especially pre-loved smartphones. Check out our website if you have a not-broken phone you could donate to someone who needs it.

Our digital drop-ins now at Eastbourne Town Hall on Mondays from 11am to 3pm and Thursdays 12noon to 5pm. We'll have a better meeting point sign very soon!

Sorry to say that because of the expected heatwave next week, we'll be suspending our drop-ins at Cavendish Place on 22nd and 25th June.
We should be back open as usual on Monday 29th June.

We're excited to launch the first sessions of our "teens" workshops at our new base in the Town Hall. These sessions are suitable for ages 14 - 18.
Come and join us in the summer holidays to mix old skool film photography with digital photographic workflow.

Be careful where you buy chargers and power banks from!

⚠ Product Recall for XO Poppy Magsafe Compatible Power Bank.

The products present a risk of fire as the internal wiring is not securely attached. This could lead to wires loosening during use. Loose wiring may cause the product to short-circuit, overheat and catch fire.

The product has been recalled from customers by TJX UK (TK Maxx). Anyone with this product should stop using the product immediately and return it to their nearest TK Maxx store for a refund or replacement. ⚠
